Can Fan on Atwood Air Command RV AC 15028 Be Turned Off
Question:
Ordered 15k Atwood with wall thermostat At15028-22 fan runs continuously when in heat pump mode. it needs to cycle with heat pump .when heat pump stops , and the fan does not it creates a draft causing discomfort. wall thermostat in in auto fan. nothing seem to make a difference. Please advise

To prevent the overall temperature of the actual AC Unit to affect the temperature reading, the fan is designed to run all the time. There is a sensor located in the return air intake side of the Atwood Air Command Rooftop RV Air Conditioner # AT15028-22, which blows air from the inside of your RV onto the thermostat.
This feature cannot be turned off as this is designed to get the most accurate reading of the interior temperature of your RV. The fan button allows you to switch between low, medium, high, and auto settings.
