How To Use a Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier on a 2020 Ford Transit Connect

Im planning on buying the Transit Connect and I understand the factory crossbars are made by Thule. Do they extend far enough out to use the Thule Hullavator. If not, which Thule crossbars would work? Thanks,

In order to use the Thule Hullavator Pro Kayak Carrier part # TH898 on a 2020 Ford Transit Connect you will need a crossbar at least 53" long. That said, I do not believe a Ford Transit Connect comes with a factory roof rack so you can either go the aftermarket route or though the dealer which is the same as the aftermarket route though you will pay more.

I recommend the aftermarket route; Thule WingBar Evo Crossbar System part # TH711420, part # TH460R, and part # THKIT3032 if you have a bare roof.
