What are the Correct Settings for the Thule Passage Trunk Mount Bike Rack on a 2011 Chrysler 200
Question:
I recently ordered a Thule TH910XT Bike Carrier for my 11 Chrysler 200 Touring and would like to know what settings are recommended for a Chrysler 200 to make the bike carrier more secure, especially when bikes are mounted on the carrier?

Expert Reply:
I checked with Thule and the fit dial setting for the Passage bike rack, # TH910XT, on a 2011 Chrysler 200 sedan should be set to 7. This is the optimal position for your vehicle. In addition, you will also place the top clips in the gap at the front edge of the top of the trunk, place the lower clips in the bottom edge of the trunk, and the lower arm of the carrier should be positioned on the upper tier of the bumper.
I have included a link to the installation instructions for you to view. If you will be carrying womens, childrens, or alternative frame bikes I recommend using the bike adapter bar # TH982XT for better ground clearance and to carry the bikes more level. I have included a link to a video that shows how the adapter works.
