Will SumoSprings Kit that Fits 2018 Ford F-250 Reduce Suspension Sag When Towing Fifth Wheel

Question:

We just purchased a new fifth wheel RV and when hitched creates a 2 inch drop at the rear wheel and 1/2 inch drop at the front wheel. Would this be enough to cause the SumoSprings to be in contact at that point? Or do they help only when my truck hits a bump or something that causes to rear end to go down more than the two inches? I’m looking for something that will improve the ride/handling all the time, and hoped the SumoSprings will do that for us. Thanks,

For your 2018 Ford F-250 the SumoSprings kit part # SSF-111-54 that you referenced would be engaged if the tow vehicle had 2 inches of suspension sag at the rear of it. The spring would begin to make contact and engage at around 1/2 inch of suspension compression which means this kit would give you excellent suspension support and greatly reduce the sag you have now. Handling and ride quality will also improve as well.
