How to Upgrade a 4-Pole Flat to a 7-Way on 2019 Jeep Cherokee for Use with Brake Controller

I have a flat 4 way installed on my 2019 jeep cherokee. Can I use an adapter to the round 7 and then use this trailer brake control?
