Will the iRV RV Stereo Work With a Satellite To Play Sound Through the TV

Question:

I dont have access to my trailer right now, would you know if this is similar in size to the touch audio unit in my trailer? I use a Bell satellite in my trailer would I be able to hook it up HDMI output so that I can use the speakers in the trailer to hear what is on the TV. My trailer has 4 pairs of speakers in 3 zones. Does the USB connection support external hard drives? I have several that range from 500GB to 4 TB or would I still have to use a media player?

The iRV RV Stereo part # iRV34 is a double din stereo which refers to the size. The majority of touchscreen stereos are also double din so this should be a good replacement size wise although slight trimming may be required between different models.

In regards to the satellite, this would not be hooked up directly to the stereo but rather to the TV and then the TV would be hooked up to the stereo. That said, this would indeed allow you to play the sound from the TV through the stereo speakers. The USB thumb drive on the face plate of the unit should allow you to hook up your external hard drives so long as they contain either MP3 or WMA file types.

Please note, the iRV RV Stereo part # iRV34 will only allow for up to six total speakers. The Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM60A allows for up to eight speakers but does not have HDMI input, only RCA but there are HDMI to RCA adapters available if your TV does not have both types.
