Is Wesbar Agricultural Light 54209-031 Compatible with Flasher on 1983 John Deere 755 Tractor

Question:

I purchased for a jd 755 tractor -1983 the flasher is a 12 32cp max 6 - The light work but dont flash - these are warning flashers mounted on fenders? im thinking voltage of flasher is wrong? I have tried hooking red and black to power and just one or the other to power no difference? Still work with both combined or seperate.

I confirmed with my contact at Wesbar that the # 54209-031 Agricultural light is compatible with the flasher on your 1983 John Deere 755 tractor. I can't confirm the case is the same for the Stanley light (pictured) though so your best bet is to replace them with the # 54003-041.

It looks like the flasher works on a 12 volt circuit which matches what's labeled on the light housing of your Stanley light so the voltage shouldn't be the issue. That being said, certain lights are not compatible with certain flashers, so it sounds like that's what's going on and why that function isn't activating.
