Troubleshooting Pilot Brake Controller 80550 That Only Shows Max Voltage of .3

Question:

2012 f650. Replaced old controller for a digital readout pilot. Got it connected and went to test it and it only goes from 0 to 0.3, even when the knob is maxed out. What are we missing? Thanks

Typically when the Pilot brake controller part # 80550 only shows the super low amperage that you mentioned the issue is that the power and ground wires were wired backwards and the controller would need to be replaced. The white wire should run to ground and the black to 12 volt power.
