Will the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System Work On a Haulmark Trailer with 8 Inch Tall Frame
Question:
Will this Reese dual cam HP work on a trailer with an 8” frame? We have a 10K Haulmark enclosed trailer with a 2x8 frame and a top mounted coupler. The instructions list dimensions for a 6” frame. If it is usable, can you please provide dimensions Thank you

Yes, the Strait-Line Weight Distribution System part # RP66084 will work on a trailer with 2" wide x 8" tall trailer frame. The instructions simply provide a reference point for setup but exact measurements will vary for each trailer. I spoke with Reese and they stated you would be good to go with the above frame size though you might be using more links than someone with say a 6" tall frame but this is not an issue at all. The Strait-Line Weight Distribution System is a great system and one of the only options with sway control that will fit this size frame so you made a great choice.
In order to complete your setup you will also need a hitch ball, the 2-5/16" Hitch Ball part # 19286 will work.
