What is the distance from the hitch pin hole to the end of the shank? The portion that goes into the receiver. Thanks

I went to the warehouse and measured the Curt Weight Distribution Shank for 2-1/2" Hitches # C17132 and it measures 3" from the center of the hitch pin hole to the end of the shank. I have attached a diagram with some other measurements I took as well that may be helpful.
