Can Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plates Install on 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited with Tow Package

Question:

RM 521451-5 Can I use this base plate on my 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited equipt with the trailer towing package? It has the Active Drive ll transfer case. The factory trailer towing package comes with an additional cooling radiator for trailer towing and I dont know if it would interfere with the base plate installation. Also, It doesnt have tow hooks.

The correct Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit for your 2020 Jeep Cherokee Limited is the part # RM-521452-5. The Direct-Connect # RM-521451-5 that you mentioned will only fit Trailhawk, Trailhawk Elite, and Overland models of the Cherokee and won't work on your Limited. I verified this with Roadmaster.

The Base Plate Kit # RM-521452-5 will install without issue on your Jeep that's equipped with the factory tow package, which includes that extra radiator cooler. Factory tow hooks aren't needed for install so this isn't a problem, either.
