You would not want to just disconnect the battery for the 2017 GMC Terrain while flat towing because the electric power steering needs to remain active during flat towing otherwise you will experience a harsh unpleasant wobble while towing. According to GM's service bulletin the 2017 GMC Terrain 4 cylinder was experiencing wobble while being flat towed because the original owner's manual required fuse 32 to be removed. They have now changed that to fuse 16 and not 32. It will also require a charge line part # RM-156-25 to keep the battery from draining while being flat towed. If the motor home does not have a charge line you will need part # RM-156-75 as well. To make it easier to pull fuse 16 I recommend Roadmaster ByPass Switch for Towed Vehicles - High-Amp Fuse part # RM-76517 which will allow you to disconnect the fuse with a flip of a switch instead of pulling it each time.
