What is Size Difference Between 7.50-16LT and 235/80R16 For Trailer

Question:

I am looking for the right tire for a travel trailer that is notorious for having a tight wheel well and little working room. Original tires are 7.50-16 on split rims. The 7.50x16 Kendas have always worked well in the past but the trailers Ive pulled are usually under 7,000 lbs. I would like something with an even higher load rating....possible a 235/80/16? Im worried about the tight wheel well problem. Exactly how different are the measurements on a 235/80/16s and the 7.50 - 16 Kendas? I also need to buy new wheels since the old ones are Split Rims. 16 inch 6 lug. 4inch center bore or larger. Any recommendations on these topics would be very helpful.

The overall diameter and width of a Provider # TA99VR 30.79 inches diameter by 9.25 inches wide. A 235/80R16 is 9.3 inches wide and has an outer diameter of 30.8 inches so a bit shorter but a little bit wider. The # PRG80235 is a 235/80R16 that would work well if you have room for the extra width. It has a weight capacity of 4,080 lbs at 110 psi and would fit the wheel you have now.

Or for this tire size on a wheel with a 6 lug bolt pattern like you need the part # TA39VR. I attached a review video for this combo for you to check out as well.
