Is Purple Wire on ETBC7 Wiring Kit for Reverse Lights on a 1988 Chevy Silverado K2500
Question:
First of all great video. Few questions. 1. What is the purple wire for? I assume for reverse lights 2. Once I have this completed I am wanting to add a 7 blade to the bed of my truck is there a kit for that or is there another option for it?

Thank you for the compliments!
Yes, the purple (sometimes yellow) wire on the 4-Way/7-Way connector for the Wiring Kit # ETBC7 is for the reverse lights. Then to add a 7-Way in the bed of your pickup you just need the Pollak # PK11893-11932. This tees in behind the 7-Way on the ETBC7 kit and comes with 7-1/2' of harness to reach up to a desired location on your truck bed.
