Can Factory Bumper Brackets Be Use To Install Westin Diamondstep Bumper On 1995 Dodge Dakota
Question:
I have a 1995 Dodge Dakota that I am looking to replace the rear bumper with the Westin #63000. My existing mounting brackets are in good condition so I am wondering if they will work or if I would need to replace them with the Installation Kit #97800.

In order to install the Westin Fey Diamondstep Rear Bumper part # 63000 on a 1995 Dodge Dakota you will also need the Custom Installation Kit for Westin Diamondstep Bumpers part # 97800 or you can just use the Westin Fey Diamondstep Rear Bumper with Custom Installation Kit part # 63000-97800.
The bumper mounting brackets are specific to both the frame and bumper which is why you cannot reuse the factory bumper mounting brackets unfortunately.
