I have a 2001 Dodge 2500 short bed and need to know the measurement on rail placement from end of the bed

For your 2001 Dodge Ram 2500 Short Bed you'll place the rear rail edge 28-7/16 inches from the rear edge of the truck bed from the # RP30035. See attached picture. You'll use the fifth wheel hitch to place the front rail.
