Elite Series Under-Bed Rail Kit For 2017 Chevy 2500HD Short Bed For 24K Fifth Wheel Slider

I requested that I wanted to set my truck up to carry a 25,000lb Reese slider hitch, I know that it might be heavier than what I need but I rather have extra strength that just enough.

To use a Reese Elite Series 5th wheel Slider part # RP30144 in the 2017 Chevy Silverado 2500HD Short bed you need part # RP30158-68 for the under bed rail kit. This will give you an OEM style puck system in the bed of your Chevy that your Reese Elite Series will drop down into. I have attached an installation video for your reference.

The Reese Elite Under Bed Mount part # RP30158-68 has a 25,000 lb capacity but there is not a slider that is rated for 25,000 lbs to fit the Reese Elite under bed mount. Since the Reese Elite Under Bed Mount has the same spacing as the Ford OEM puck system I recommend to use the Curt 24K part # C16545-16020 in the Reese Elite Under Bed Mount but that is the highest rated slider that is compatible. I know that it seems strange to use the Ford OEM hitch in the Chevy but they are compatible with the Reese Elite spacing.
