Atwood Water Heater Not Lighting but Gas Comes On

The gas comes on but the Ignition system does not light the gas

There are a few possible reasons as to why your water heater isn't lighting, but one of the most common culprits is a bad thermocouple. This is part of the pilot burner and what connects to the gas control valve on the heater. We do have a nice selection of replacements available, such as the 18" # CAM09273. This is a universal type kit but we do have various other lengths available, which I have linked below.
If you have a master switch in the RV then it might even be the switch itself. We have standard replacement switches available like the Atwood # AT91959 that would work well.
Lastly it might be simply be a loose connection somewhere on the RV. Take a look at all your connection points to make sure they are still secure. This would be a more likely culprit if the water heater was sporadically lighting here and there but just not consistently.
