Recommended Kayak Carrier for 85 Pound Perception Pescador Kayak

The Malone SeaWing Kayak Carrier and Load Assist # MPG113MD that you referenced features a 75 pound weight capacity, so it won't be able to safely support your 85 pound Perception Pesacador Kayak.

We do not have a lift-assist system that has this kind of capacity, so your best option is going to be with a heavy-duty saddle-style carrier like the Malone MegaWing # MPG207, which can handle a kayak of up to 150 pounds. This will allow you to push the kayak up from the rear of the vehicle and push it the rest of the way, instead of having to lift it up over the side of the vehicle like with a J- or Post-style carrier.

This particular system includes the needed tie-down straps and will fit on just about any roof rack crossbar style.
