The brake controller I recommend for your 2014 Honda Pilot is the Curt Echo Mobile Trailer Brake Controller part # C51180. I recommend the Curt Echo because it is one of the easiest brake controllers on the market to install which is due to the fact that there is no in-cab wiring needed therefore perfect for applications in which a traditional plug-in brake controller cannot be used. The Curt Echo is controlled and setup with your phone as well which makes things super simple and you don't have to drill into your dash like you would to mount a standard brake controller.
If you have a 4-way installed then all you need is the 7-Way RV Upgrade Kit for Trailer Brake Controller Installation part # ETBC7L which converts a 4-way to a 7-way or you have the option of replacing the 4-way with the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness part # 118265 which is also an option if there is no trailer connector present.
