Picking Out Winch to Pull Floating Dock Out of Lake

Question:

Hi. Please suggest which of your winches I should buy for my situation, as follows: Need to pull a 6 x 14 floating wood dock, appx. weight 1300 lbs, about 6-10 up a very slight lake shore slope less than 10 slope. ALSO, do you have products/suggestions for attaching winch to either an in-ground post or possibly a tree? Your help is very much appreciated!

For dragging something without wheels that weighs 1,300 lbs up a slight incline the best option is a utility winch with over twice the capacity needed to get the job done. The Bulldog Winch part # BDW15019 would be a really great option as it has a 4,400 lb capacity and has a decent line speed of 19 feet per minute. I attached a review video for this for you to check out as well.

We don't carry them but there are really great tree mounts for winches that use chains or straps that wrap around the tree to secure it. This would be the easiest solution.
