Can Battery be Jumped that Has Redarc Smart Start Load Disconnect for Manager30 System

Question:

Hello I’m just reviewing the installation guide for the Redarc Manger 30 and it suggest that the SBl12-BLD be added for the the battery management system....my question/s does the SBI12-BLD allow you to jump start your main battery? If not is there something similar to the SBI12 that will do everything that the SBI12 could do PLUS jump start your main battery? Recommendations?

There's no reason you couldn't jump start a battery that's in use that has the Redarc Smart Start Load Disconnect for Manager30 Battery Management System # 331-SBI12-BLD installed. The type of voltage and amperage that a battery jump provides is right at the same as a fully charged vehicle battery so the presence of the additional amperage would not be an issue at all.
