Tow Defender Protective Screen for Roadmaster Base Plate Kit that Doesn't Use Crossbar

Question:

I purchased the road master tow defender to go with my night hawk tow bar. it attaches to the RV side no problem but I do not see that the defender will attache to the auto side, I have a Honda CR-V. it needs vertical pins to attach the brackets and mine are horizontal. Will these adapters work?

There are two versions of the Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen, the part # RM-4700 (the one it sounds like you have) that can't fit the style of base plate kit you have and the the part # RM-4750 which can fit your style of base plate kit.

Since there isn't an adapter solution we can help you with to allow what you currently have to fit the best solution we offer is the # RM-4750 instead and you'd be set.
