Can Trailer Tire Size 175/80-13 Replace Size 185/80R13
Question:
I currently have 185 80 R13 on my pop up trailer but nowhere in town sells that size. The only thing available is 175 80 r13. Could I use these instead? I dont have time to order tires. Dry weight of the trailer is 2,241 pounds.

Expert Reply:
The 185/80-13 trailer tire size and the 175/80-13 both fit the exact same rim sizes so yes you could go down to the 175 size like the part # TTWTRTM1758013C which is a radial with a higher speed rating of 81 mph.
