Will Goose Box Fit 2016 Forest River Ultra-Lite 2440WS

Question:

We have just purchased a 2016 Forest River Rockwood Ultra-lite 2440WS fifth wheel and would like to change it to a gooseneck. Would the Reese Goose Box 5th wheel-to-gooseneck air ridden couple adapter Lippert 1716/16,000 lbs fit? We will be towing with a 2003 Dodge 3500 diesel dually which already has the gooseneck.

If the pin box on your 2016 Forest River Ultra-Lite 2440WS is a 0115, 1116, or a 1716 then yes, the Reese Goose Box 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Air Ride Coupler Adapter # RP94716-61301 will fit and is the best choice if your 2003 Dodge Ram 3500 is already setup with a gooseneck hitch.

If you are unsure of your pin box number just let me know and I'd be happy to help you find out what it is. There should be a sticker on the pin box itself that mentions the number but if you aren't able to find it we can determine your pin box number by contacting Forest River with your VIN or by taking some measurements of your pin box as is described in the attached helpful article.
