How to Mount the Thermostat in the Camco Propane To Electricity Converter for RV Water Heaters
Question:
1983 Coachman The tape is not doing the job of holding the thermostat to the tank. Is there any recommendations as to type of adhesive or tape I can use to prevent the thermostat from falling off?

I spoke with my contact over at Camco and they said that a trip to your local autoparts store for some 3M trim tape should do the trick. They recommended that you also clean both the tank area that you're trying to attach it as well as the back of the thermostat to make sure that both surfaces are clean and free from dust and debris. He did mention that you won't want to use glue or anything like that since it may get into the components and cause other issues.
