How to Prevent Water From Getting to Cargo in etrailer Cargo Bag w/ Mounting Straps # 988501
Question:
This bag worked quite well on one trip, but in heavy rain on another trip it ended up with water sitting on the bottom inside, which got our suitcases and bags wet. Do you have any suggestions to prevent this? Maybe plastic covers or something to place inside around the luggage, or something similar?

While the etrailer Cargo Bag w/ Mounting Straps # 988501 was designed to prevent water from getting to your cargo as much as possible it's not totally waterproof as you found so water can get into it in a heavy downpour. The best option will be to put all of your cargo in large trash bags before putting it in the # 988501 and you'll have the best possible protection from heavy rains.
