etrailer.com 4,500-Watt Portable Generator vs Firman 3651 Generator
Question:
etrailer #333-0005 and Firman 3651 appear to be identical in every way except the branding and more importantly the etrailer version is rated 50 watts lower than the Firman 3651. If these generators are in fact the same, why the difference power rating? Please explain.

You are correct that the etrailer.com 4,500-Watt Portable Generator # 333-0005 is essentially identical to the Firman 3651 in terms of function, features, design, etc but does differ with regards to the power output. It has a 4,500 watt starting output (with gas) and a 3,600 watt running output (with gas), which is just 50 watts lower than the Firman model.
In reality 50 watts will make very little, if any difference in application. I even verified this with my contact at Firman. Because of this I do recommend going with the more economically priced etrailer.com model, which again still gives you all the same benefits and features as the alternative.
