Recommendation to Replace Electric A-Frame Jack on 2019 R-Pod 190
Question:
Hello, Im looking for a replacement electric jack for my 2019 RPOD 190. I use a Husky weight distribution hitch, in addition to lifting my trailer also need a jack strong enough to lift the trailer to install the weight distribution bars when the trailer is hitched to the truck. My current jack seems to be failing, it seems like it is slipping when lowering. What jacks would you recommend?

Helpful Expert Reply:
For your 2019 R-Pod 190 I highly recommend the Stromberg Carlson # JET-5000. This powered jack features a 5,000 pound weight capacity which is more than enough for the loaded tongue weight on the R-Pod, even with the tow vehicle attached. The over-rated nature of its capacity will result in easier lifting and a longer lifespan since it won't have to work as hard.
It has a total lift of 23 inches and a retracted bracket height of 5 inches. I have attached a short video review that you can check out as well.
