SportRack Foam Block Roof Kayak Carrier Install on 2006 Ford Taurus with Moonroof
Question:
Hi I just got this roof rack and Im an idiot because I forgot I had a moon roof on my 2006 Ford Taurus. If I were placing this carrier on top I would obviously not put it on the glass. Should I put it on the roof metal closer to A pillar or back behind the moon roof closer to the B pillar? Lastly, if I cant get it to work, can I return the rack?

I looked up pictures of a 2006 Ford Taurus like yours that has a moon roof and it looks like the best place to put the front foam block of the # MPG152 is in front of the moon roof. If you put the front ones behind it the kayak would end up angle nose high quite a bit and there wouldn't be much room for the rear block.
This is a universal install and you have a vehicle that may have a diminished roof capacity because of the moon roof so you will need to use your best judgment. I also attached a link to our returns policy page as well.
