Programmer/Monitor for 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 with 5.3 liter That Can Disable AFM

Does it also afm? 2016 gmc sierra 1500 5.3

Expert Reply:
We have a programmer/monitor that does fit your 2016 GMC Sierra 1500 with a 5.3 liter engine that can disable AFM (active fuel management), but the CS Insight part # EP84030 that you referenced does not have this ability as it can only monitor the vehicle.
Instead you'd need a programmer that has this option like the Evolution CTS3 part # EP39YR which has the same ability to monitor the engine and transmission but in the custom tune portion of the programmer it does allow you to disable AFM.
This also can give you up to 18 additional horsepower and 27 ft lbs of torque.
