RV Stereo Shuts Off During Middle of Movie

Question:

The DVD player in our camper doesn’t play any movie through to the end. It shuts down about 3/4 through every DVD we play. I have reset the unit but that didn’t work.

I am not totally sure which stereo you have but the issue you are describing sounds like an internal fault. I would first check to make sure all of the inputs on the back of the stereo are secure. If they are and you have performed the factory reset then your best option would be a full replacement. The best option we have for this is the Jensen RV Stereo part # JWM70A for single din cutouts or part # JWM60A for double din cutouts.

I hate to be the bearer of bad news but stereos can fail without warning, even after only a short while. I personally like Jensen because we tend to see the least amount of issues with these stereos. Also, Jensen specializes in stereos whereas other companies such as Furrion offer these among many other product lines. The above two options both come with a one year warranty as well.
