Does the Mighty Cord Adapter Split To Both Circuits Equally on 50amp Service or Supply to One?
Question:
Good day! I am a new etrailer customer. I very much appreciate your attention to details in the products you sell and your customer service. My question is regarding the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug - 30 Amp Male to 50 Amp Female - Detachable. Item # A10-3050DAVP. I am wiring a concession trailer with a 50 amp service panel and 50 amp twist/lock inlet. 50 amp service is so we can maximize shore power. My quiet inverter-generator has a 120 Volt AC, 30 Amp Receptacle NEMA TT-30R. Finally, my question. Does this adapter take the single hot leg coming from the generator and splice it, so both of the of the A10-3050DAVP adapters lines are hot? Two hot, one neutral, one ground. If so, is it an even distribution... i.e. how would that work for a service panel with two 120 volt legs. BIG thanks in advance, and Im thinking this would work great with your Epicord 50 Amp Twist Lock Power Inlet - Black, Item # 277-000140.

If I'm understanding you correctly, you're trying to determine whether or not the adapter plug splits the loads coming from your generator. I checked with Mighty Cord and they informed me that the Mighty Cord RV Power Cord Adapter Plug - 30 Amp Male to 50 Amp Female supplies power to both lines equally, so your only limitations on this setup are going to be the input of power on each circuit when split.
