Why Won't Atwood AC Unit for RV Go into Auto Mode
Question:
The auto button is always red and fan always running. When I push the mode to fan it only goes to high med low skips auto completely. If I push the fan button I can put on low and auto is red and fan constantly runs.

I checked the install instructions for the Atwood AC Unit part # AT15028-22 that you referenced and auto mode can't be selected under two circumstances. If the model is a cooling only model (no heat pump) or if the main heat source for the RV is a furnace.
Another circumstance is if you are using outdoor defrost mode (indicated by a flashing HEAT LED).
