Where to Find Axle Info on Trailer and Determine if Brakes are Manual or Self Adjust
Question:
i have a 2005 starcraft antigua 215ss0. i do i find the axle maker, weight and if it has manuel adjust brakes. thank you.

There are a couple places you can check to find out the axle info you are looking for. If you check the plate up near the coupler of the trailer that has the VIN listed the axle brand/capacity would be listed there. Also it can be listed on a similar plate on the axle itself.
To determine if the trailer has manual adjust brakes will require you to pull a hub off so that you can see what is there. If you look at the brake assembly with the hub off and see a metal cable going across it at an angle that's a dead giveaway that they are self adjusting as that's the easiest to identify mechanism of the self adjusting. I attached a picture of the assembly part # AKEBRK-7L-SA with the cable pointed out as well.
