The Lippert # LC1565391 Center Point air suspension is compatible with trailers that have axles up to 8K in capacity with 1-3/4 inch wide leaf springs and standard equalizer hangers that measure at least 2-1/2 Inches in height from the center of the bolt that fastens the equalizer to the spring hanger to the underside of the trailer frame where the hanger mounts. The equalizer needs to be at least 3 inches in width as shown in the diagram I provided. So as long as your trailer meets those criteria, the unit would do quite a bit to make the ride smoother. Your axles should have an ID sticker on them listing their capacity.

What concerns me is the height increase though. By law, on an interstate highway the clearance under overpasses needs to be a minimum of 16 feet. The same doesn't hold true on state roads or on surface streets so you could be asking for trouble once you get off the interstates.

The Lippert Road Armor Shock Absorbing Equalizer, part # LC696740 would be less effective than the Center Point system, but would still offer additional dampening which would improve your ride quality. The excellent news is that it wouldn't add extra height to your fifth wheel The Road Armor Equalizer is compatible with 3500 to 8000 lb axles.
