Recommendation To Help With Reaching Taller Van Roof To Load Paddleboards

Question:

I converted a van to live on the beach and I put thule areo bars on the roof. Recently I purchased a Thule SUP Taxi to mount my ISLE Sup. My first attempt to get the board on the roof I dropped it and dented my brand new board. I'm a short guy at 5'5" but I thought I'd be fully capable of roof mounting a paddle board... I was wrong! the board isnt heavy just awkward man. I just bought this and want to use it. Just want to get on the water.

I can help you get your Isle Paddleboard on the roof with the Thule SUP Taxi XT Stand-Up Paddleboard Carrier part # TH810001. I recommend to use the Thule Telescoping Ladder for Vans - 9 Steps - 8-1/2' part # TH301404 the bracket easily attaches to the side of the van with magnets. Then the ladder snaps into the bracket so you can reach higher when you are loading the paddleboard to make it much easier. It also folds up and fits into a handy storage bag when you are not using it. I have attached a photo for your reference.
