Can Replacement Single-Panel On/Off Switch AT91959 Be Wired to a Suburban Water Heater
Question:
What colors go where on suburban SW10de water heater dual switch ac/DC
asked by: Richard D
Expert Reply:
The Replacement Single-Panel On/Off Switch # AT91959 is designed for certain Atwood gas and electric water heaters (like GH6-8E) but can technically be wired to a similar water heater from a different manufacturer.
Although I have no way to provide you with the color by color schematic for your Suburban water heater, the best I can do is provide you with a wiring diagram indicating the pin functions of the # AT91959 as well as the dual switch # AT91230. Note that the wire colors indicated in the diagram pertain to Atwood water heaters so they may be different on yours.
