Best Platform 4 Bike Rack that Clears Spare Tire on 2012 Toyota RAV4

Hello, Wondering if you could tell me if the Sport Rack SR2902LR SportRack 4-Bike Tilting Platform Hitch Bike Rack will clear the spare tire on the back of a Rav4?

The SportRack 4 Bike Rack SR2902LR you mentioned has been discontinued by the manufacturer and no longer available. That being said, we know that the distance from hitch pin hole to closest point on rack is 12 inches, so you would need to have that clearance for your spare not to interfere with the rack.

For a similar 4-bike platform rack, we have the Swagman Quad 2+2 2-Bike and 4-Bike Platform Rack # S64FR. This rack offers the versatility to transport only 2 bikes by simply removing the add-on, includes a hitch lock for added security and comes with a lifetime warranty.

It will clear the spare tire of your RAV4 but it may or may not be able to fold up depending on which hitch is installed on your vehicle. To determine if it will be able to fold up for storage, measure from the center of the hitch pin hole to the outer most edge of the spare tire or carrier. I have attached a photo for visual reference.
If that distance is less than 7-3/4 inches then the rack can be folded up.
