Timbren Axeless Suspension System For 5 on 5 Bolt Pattern Wheels To Help With Tire Clearance

Question:

Is there a bracket made to flip the axle? I have this suspension but my tires are going to rub when installed. no part of the suspension is rubbing. Once I get the silent ride installed on the frame my tire will be rubbing my fender. I am replacing leaf springs on an older Jeep trailer (M100). I should have ordered the axle less system you guys have. I was trying to go the cheapest route and now it’s going to cost me even more to finish. I have not installed the silent ride system, can i get the axle less system with 5x5 wheel hubs?

I can certainly recommend a Timbren axle-less system for you. The Timbren Silent Ride Suspension does not have a bracket to flip the axle because there wouldn't be a way to attach the system to the frame if the axle is flipped. When you "flip the axle" you are putting the leaf springs or suspension above the axle which is not going to work with the Timbren Silent Ride system. I also checked to see if they had any spacers available to help with tire clearance and they do not.

I recommend the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System part # ASR1THDS03 because it will give you a 4" lift on the spindle. The system is also made for off-road tires so they will stick out a bit more than the standard spindles giving you more clearance. You can use a 5 on 5 hub with the spindle of the Timbren system, I recommend part # AKIHUB-550-35-K for an idler hub or part # AKHD-550-35-K if you need a hub and drum.
