What Type Of Bolts Are Used with Equalizers and What Is the Torque Needed for Them

Is knurl bolts the recommended bolts for the installation? No torque required? Enough to allow the bolts to move freely?

Yes, you will use knurled shoulder bolts to attach the equalizers and leafs springs. If you are interested in the Curved Equalizer for 1-3/4" Wide Double-Eye Springs part # TREQE1 then you will be better off going with the Tandem-Axle Trailer Hanger Kit for Double Eye Springs part # APT5 as this comes with all the shackle straps, knurled shoulder bolts, and nuts you need as well. If you were to try and piece these together with the above equalizers you would end up paying more. The leaf spring hangers can be pitched if you don't need them.

In regards to installation, the eye bolts don't have a specific torque value so you just need to tighten them until snug.
