Do Load Range C Trailer Tires in Size 4.80-12 Have Weight Capacity to Carry 755 lb ATV
Question:
Hello. I just bought a 4 wheeler that weight 755lbs. I have a 5x8 utility trailer that has 4.80-12 tires that are c rated, I believe. I know it says they are rated for 990lbs. My question is, is this a adequate tire for hauling this ATV? we travel about 50 miles to our farm, and top speed would be 60-65 for a short period, majority speed 50-55mph. do I need to look into a larger tire or will this work. Thanks,

Load Range C trailer tires in the size 4.80-12 that you have like the part # TTWSF48012C would have enough capacity for your trailer and ATV. Each of the tires has a capacity of 990 lbs so you'd have a total tire capacity weight rating of 1,980 lbs.
The # TTWSF48012C mentioned actually has a speed rating of 81 mph as well.
