Solution for Blue Ox Tow Bar Arm that Wont Unlock
Question:
My Blue OX Tow Bar just will not come unbounded one side is permanently locked out. I have tried all the little trick turning the car both directions, backing up to pull out fully before unlocking does not matter what I do it stays locked. I can make do by coming in at a very hard angle with that locked bar then extending the other side to hook up but it is a real pain.

It definitely sounds like you have a damaged arm on your Blue Ox tow bar that needs to be replaced. The inner arm may be bent or the mechanism is damaged. Since you've tried everything to make it work your best option is to replace the arm. Since I don't know what tow bar you have the best option I have is to link you to a page that has all of the replacement arms we do carry for you to check out.
Or you can let me know what tow bar you have and I'll see what you'd need.
