Stainless Steel Fender Trim for a 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD With Stock Mud Flaps

Will this fender trim kit work with stock mudflaps already installed on my 2009 Chevy Silverado 2500HD?

I spoke with my contact at Putco and he said the Stainless Steel Fender Trim, # P97289, will work with the stock mud flaps on your 2009 Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD, but there will be a small gap between the mud flaps and the fender well after installation.

For installation you will need to remove the mud flaps on your truck to install the trim and then you will attach the mudflaps on top of the trim piece.
