Could Loc-Tite be Put On Thumb Screw of Swagman Titan 2 Bike Carrier

The Thumb Screw keeps coming loose even on a 3 mile trip.Would it be alright to put loctite on it?

You can try putting loc-tite on the threads of the thumb screw that hold the shank base to the upright mast of the Swagman Titan 2 Bike Carrier for 1-1/4" and 2" Hitches # S63400 that you have. It won't hurt anything and should hopefully prevent the screw from continuing to back out.
