Will Kuat Beta Bike Rack # B202-114 Fit On a 2012 Suzuki SX4 Crossover

Question:

Would this rack be suitable for a 2012 Suzuki SX4? Also, I notice the description says it fits 11/4inch and 2inch hitches, but that there is also an accessory 2inch hitch adapter separately sold. Does the hitch come with a 2inch adapter, or do you have to buy one? Thanks.

The Kuat Beta Bike Rack, part # B202-114, is designed for a Class I and Class II 1-1/4 Inch hitch. To be able to use this Kuat bike rack on a 2 inch hitch you will need to purchase the Kuat Bike Rack Shank Adapter, part # D101. This adapter will bolt onto the shank of the Beta bike rack. It is not included with the Kuat Beta bike rack.

On a 2012 Suzuki SX4 Crossover, I only show the Class I 1-1/4 Inch hitch as a fit, so this Kuat Beta bike rack will install onto your hitch without the # D101 two inch shank adapter. A Class I hitch will only be able to carry a maximum of 2 bikes.

To determine if the Kuat Beta bike rack will fit on your Suzuki SX4 Crossover, you will want to measure on your hitch, from the center of the hitch pin hole to the part farthest back on your vehicle, probably your bumper. If it measures less than 10-1/2 inches it will fit your Suzuki SX4 Crossover.

You will want to check your owners manual or with the Suzuki dealer to make sure you will be able to use a hitch bike rack on the back of your vehicle.
