Best Trailer Tire in Size 235/80R16 for Gooseneck
Question:
I have tried different brands of 235R80 trailer tires. I have a goose neck trailer , 1400 pound gross capacity. Most of the time the gross weight is between 10,000 and14,000pounds. I check the tire pressure before a trip. I have used load range E andF tires. I have never worn out a tire. They always blowout. I have had them blow out loaded and empty trailer. Is there a tire that I can depend on that will get me where I am going and back home?

For your tire size of 235/80R16 the best option is the Taskmaster Provider part # TTWTRTM2358016E. This has a 3520 lb max load at 80 psi and has a great reputation for reliability. It also comes with a 2 year warranty as well. The tread design has breaks in the tire tread channel water away from the tire to improve traction during wet, snowy, or icy conditions.
Since exceeding speed ratings is a very common reason why trailer tires fail this has an advantage over other trailer tires with it's speed rating of 81 mph as well.
I attached a review video link for more info too.
