Troubleshooting 7-Way Emulator Not Showing Connections on 2019 Audi Q7
Question:
New 2019 Audi Q7, Brake controller not installed yet Dealer installing it. I checked with my 7 pin Tekonsha emulator and it does not show any LEDs when the lights are Turned on just keeps flashing those three LEDs The 12 Volt and back up LED do not light when they should either. What does this indicate?

Sometimes the emulators just aren't as reliable as they should be on newer vehicles. It's very possible your vehicle has to sense more of an amperage draw on the trailer wiring circuits to allow them to be active. I'd try connecting to a trailer first and go from there as it's very likely your trailer wiring is fine on your 2019 Audi Q7. In general German vehicles have more issues like this than other manufacturers.
