Bearings, Grease Seals, Hub/Drums and Hydraulic Brake Assemblies for Dexter 5200 lb # 6340624 Axle
Question:
1 why is there a wire in the photo? 2 are the bearing seats 1 3/4inch inner and 1 1/2inch outer and inner seal 2.25 ? 3 will this axel work with new hydraulic disc breaks, six lug ? 4 can spring seats be moved or shipped loose ? I need 76 1/2inch center to center Thanks

The wire shown is for the brake magnets if electric brakes are used.
The spindles are compatible with a 25580 inner bearing with a 1.75 inch inner diameter and a LM67048 outer bearing with a 1.25 inch inner diameter. The grease seals used would be dependent on the hub, but the surface of the spindle that the seal would ride against is 2.225 inches in diameter.
The axles would be compatible with a hydraulic 12 x 2 inch brake assembly like # 23-324-325 and a # 8-201-5UC3-EZ hub/drum assembly. The spring seats are welded in place. Rather than gently trying to remove and reuse them, you'd be better off removing them with a grinder and welding two # TRSS300 spring seats in the desired location.
