How Do I Correct Sway From Crosswinds and Passing Trucks on 2019 Entegra Vision 26X Motorhome?
Question:
We have a 2019 Entegra Vision 26X. We are having problems with the sway especially with cross winds. It also sways when the 18 wheelers pass. I was wondering if we could put a sway bar on the Motorhome and what would be the best kind. Thanks

This isn't uncommon to have this, but there are several products that can help enhance the factory suspension system on your 2019 Entegra Vision 26X combat what you're currently dealing with. The biggest improvement can be made by upgrading the rear sway bar on your Entegra, which will work to stop sway at the rear of the vehicle from crosswinds and passing semi-trucks. Since the Entegra Vision 26x is built on a Ford F-53 chassis, you'll need the Roadmaster Rear Sway Bar # RM-1139-146 .
Adding a rear sway bar upgrade may be sufficient, but if you still were feeling a lot of negative handling after this upgrade, I recommend also upgrading your Front Sway Bar and adding a Steering Stabilizer. You can replace your front sway bar with Roadmaster Front Sway Bar # RM-1139-148 and the Roadmaster Reflex Steering Stabilizer will be # RM-RBK22-RSSA . If your U Bolts are too short when you go to install the rear sway bars, you'll need to add the Extended U Bolt Kit # RM-590050-00 . The steering stabilizer won't help the side to side much, but it will definitely provide you with a bit more control and better steering of the rig- so that would be something not as necessary as the sway bars.
It might be a little bit overkill, but a total suspension overhaul would add everything mentioned above plus SumoSprings, which are going to fit on top of your factory leaf springs and provide added stability and cushion to your ride. The front SumoSprings are available with # SSF-170-40-2 and the rear SumoSprings are # SSR-184-40-1 .
